For the past six years I discovered that two of the things that I am most passionate about go hand in hand , one needs the other to be able to succeed. My love for Coffee began around six years ago and that’s when I also really got my literary journey started so to write about anything it was a no brainer to either go with the world of all things Coffee, or something I also have been hit with which was Writer’s Block. I was able to find plenty of great articles on both topics- I have been listening to Podcasts on both as well (believe it or not The coffee lovers have way more) such as: Coffee Break Spanish, The Coffee Podcast, Kalyns Coffee Talk all on Spotify which just gave me more assurance that The Coffee Culture is very much alive and thriving. I found plenty of blogs on Writer’s Block and also could see how helpful it would be for everyone to get some ideas on how to combat it, but if I look deep inside me I know that Coffee to begin with is one of the biggest inspirations for a lot of people. To either write, work, be productive, uplift your mood and it just plain sets the day. Some articles from the portals I am subscribed to ( Feedly and Flipboard) have great articles on Coffee Culture- we are not talking about PSL here, I want to discuss important and relevant matters that are interesting and informative such as The scandal of the Coffee prices in some countries, and how in Colombia (my country) many coffee workers and farmers are getting paid cents – resulting in workers leaving behind farms to rot ( it’s unfair how little they get paid, for all the work they do). I have some great Barista stories and how being one is now in many states a thriving and prominent career. For all these reasons and many more which involve the art of Lattes and the beautiful aesthetics of a cup of Joe we will continue on this journey with all things Coffee.
